Hey ! Thanks a lot for your comments ! It is very pleasant and self-assuring to hear that my work has an impact. Technique is like a safety net, that can be acquired through practice, the experience that the viewer gets though is what's important. I'm glad that the desired effect and the frustration of sitting with each drawing for days comes through. I really love how fluent and gestural your works are. They contain that strongly driven line of fast drawings, which usually gets lost in something substantial. Good luck ! Hope to see more

thank you for all your comments it means a lot to me when someone that doesnt know me can assess my art in such a way. i love all my children dearly they are my world and i photograph them so much they think i was born with a camera stuck to my face. i catch them when they are unaware too which makes for great natural shots to paint. i have a good 100 paintings of my children and will gradually add them as i take shots of them. my cat ' tommy ' also lets me take good pics of him for me to paint.do you work from photos or stills?

Ah! A New Mexican! Interesting how you could end up coming from here and ending up in france. I'll be moving soon, to a completely different enviornment, so perhaps i'll experience something similar to what you have. While I had never heard my work compared to Frida Kahlo I take it as a compliment! Thankyou very much, now hopefully I will not be impaled as well as my children being born whole.
